DESCRIPTION: Join us for a night of craft beer and wine tasting\, hearty appetizers\, fun\, and fundraising! \n\n\n\n\nWhat could be better than spending a couple hours tasting several local craft brewed spirits\, and some wines? Giving back while you are doing it of course! \nOn April 23rd\, the Lakeville Chamber Foundation is hosting our 9th annual Suds for Scholars fundraising event. The event\, hosted at the Holiday Inn & Suites Lakeville\, includes sampling from each brewer\, while they tell you about their favorite creations. Bring a friend\, a date\, or your colleagues for an evening of beer and wine tasting\, hot and hearty appetizers\, and prize drawings. The generosity of our brewers – who donate their time and all their spirits – as well as several local sponsors\, make it possible for 100% of single ticket sales to go directly into the Foundation’s scholarship fund. \n2026 brewers TBA in early 2026. \nThe Lakeville Chamber Foundation\, a 501(c)3 charitable organization\, focuses on workforce development through scholarships and grants. The Foundation is led by a member volunteer Board of Directors and is the nonprofit arm of the Lakeville Area Chamber of Commerce\, serving the Lakeville Area and Schools. \nThe funds raised through events\, like Suds for Scholars\, support the following Lakeville Foundation programs: \n\nScholarships are available to Lakeville Area Schools (ISD194) graduating high school seniors to pursue continuing education or certification\, who are pursuing education credits\, or career advancement courses\, with a qualified school or program\, and further strengthen their workforce and leadership skills.\nScholarships are available to Chamber member employees who are pursuing education credits\, or career advancement courses\, with a qualified school or program.\nImpact Grants are awarded to support innovative\, student-based programs\, that include workforce readiness initiatives and/or STEM career exposure\, and that have the ability to be replicated or adapted district-wide.\n\nTickets are also sold at the door – day of the event.
